Complaints and returns

Every piece is forged by hand and made to order. The rules below therefore apply to complaints and returns.

Colour and patina: we apply colour and patina by hand, so the shade of every piece differs from other pieces and from the photos on the site. Differences in colour and shade are not a defect and we do not accept complaints about them.

Personalised pieces: pieces made to your dimensions, with an engraving or otherwise adapted to your wishes are made for you alone. You cannot withdraw from the contract for them (return without a reason), and we do not accept complaints about elements you specified yourself, such as the engraving text, dimensions and shape.

Moving parts: hinges, handles, latches, chains and other moving parts wear with use. Wear, loosening or a change in how they work through use is not a defect and we do not accept complaints about it.

Damage after delivery: please check the piece when you receive it. We do not accept complaints about damage that occurs after delivery, for example from a fall, incorrect installation, use or the weather.

How to report a defect: write to kovastvo.jug@gmail.com, describe the problem and attach a photo. We reply within two working days.

These rules do not limit your statutory consumer rights regarding defects that already existed when the piece was delivered.
